Maria has had a diverse and impactful career supporting Sir Magdi in various initiatives. In 2008, she began her journey with Sir Magdi by assisting in the establishment of the Aswan Heart Centre. After her contributions there, Maria played a crucial role in setting up the Qatar Cardiovascular Research Centre in Doha, where she helped build a robust research institute comprising 38 scientists.
In 2015, Maria transitioned to Sir Magdi’s International Head Office at Harefield Hospital in the UK. At MYI, she manages the administrative functions for the Institute and undertakes a range of operational support, negotiation, and coordination roles for projects linked to Sir Magdi’s UK and global engagements.
Before joining Sir Magdi’s charity, Maria accumulated experience in both the private and public sectors. Her roles spanned human resources, event management, branding, and organisational logistics, providing her with a well-rounded background that supports her current responsibilities
